M&T Bank Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Buffalo, New York

Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator assists in the talent acquisition process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers. They work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and support various administrative tasks related to recruitment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Arrange travel for out-of-town candidates, if necessary.

  • Greet and assist both internal and external candidates to the HR division, providing information assistance and directing individuals, as needed.

  • Candidate Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing updates on their application status.

  • Handle candidate inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and clear communication.

  • Update and maintain Applicant Tracking System (Workday) and other recruiting tools (Eightfold, Brazen, etc.).

  • Assist and provide support on other miscellaneous Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.

  • Train new employees.

  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This individual works closely with the Talent Acquisition staff, as a partner to fulfill employment needs across the bank footprint. They need to interact/communicate with both internal and external candidates as well as various levels of management. This position is often the first contact/impression a potential candidate has of the Bank.

Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or GED, College degree preferred.

Minimum one year of successful HR administrative experience.

Preferential consideration will be given to those with current M&T Bank Human Resources experience.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday) or other HR software required.

Skills and Competencies Required:

Strong customer service and verbal/written communications skills required.

High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.11 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
