Position Summary:
The senior statistician is a quantitative scientist whose focus will be providing support for interdisciplinary collaborations within and outside the University as it pertains to statistical planning and analysis. In this role, you will interface with statisticians and other scientific investigators, clinical data managers, and external partners to design and implement scientific studies. In this position, you will be responsible for:
Study Design and Implementation
Statistical planning
Randomization plan development and execution
Statistical programming
Statistical analysis (basic and advanced)
Computational and simulation support
Execution of analysis plans
Results reporting
Infrastructure Development and Management
Contribute to the development and implementation of SOPs and templates
Software development
Training and management of research assistants

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in statistics or other related scientific fields with at least two years relevant work experience
Knowledge of data management concepts
Working knowledge within areas of Good Clinical Practices and related regulatory requirements and terminology
Programming knowledge in SAS and R, with programming knowledge in Python being desirable
Knowledge of clinical trials and medical device and/or drug development processes
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively work in a team setting
