Overview:

Foster relationships with third party providers that assist M&T in providing solutions and services to new and existing Debit Card and Credit Card customers. Responsible for expense management and ensuring that service levels are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deepen relationships with third party providers

• Management and oversight of expenses incurred by third party partnerships

• Review new developments on company markets, evaluating potential products, and recommending the development of new products or the modification of existing products.

• Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in the bank’s products.

• Identifies the need for additional internal relationships, works to develop those relationships as appropriate.

• Perform special projects or assignments as requested by management.

• Executes tactics to meet business objectives as directed.

• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associates’ degree, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of three years’ banking or related experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or finance, or the equivalent in work experience

• Four to five years banking or related experience

• Project or Inventory Management skills

• Highly organized with an ability to multi-task

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as contribute on an individual basis

• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Working Model/Office Location:

This is a hybrid location requiring 3 days in-office per week. Eligible candidates must live within commuting distance to 345 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $51,504.81 - $85,841.35 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
