Production Planning & Control Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervises a unit's production scheduling.

Job Duties

Analyze work flow and build schedules that ensure supply meets demand

Responsible for ensuring manufacturing objectives are met

Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of labor

Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices

Lead and direct the work of other employees

Typically have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary

actions

Typically require a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience

Competencies/ Skills

Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

Ability to develop and mentor others

Ability to foster teamwork

Organizational skills
