Summary: Assumes primary responsibility for maintaining standards set by the department and assuring policies and procedures are translated into the operations of the pharmacy during extended periods of time when there are no on-site supervisors or other pharmacists available for consultation; dispenses medications to oncology patients including unit-dose medications, intravenous additive preparations, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapeutic agents, and investigational agents (Phase I, II and III); solves drug-related problems, monitors medication therapy, counsels patients, provides drug information to the medical staff; may provide specialized services related to quality improvement and chemotherapy management.

Base salary range for this position is $149,820 - $162,796 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also includes a geographic differential of $11,077 annually for a total compensation range of $160,897 - $173,873 annually.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in hospital pharmacy practice.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
