Position Summary: Provides clerical support to the office and works with office assistant, lead, and/or manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Observes all safety procedures, rules and regulations, and instruction in performance of job duties.-Responsible for all clerical functions in the business office.-Answer a multi-line phone, take messages, or answer routine questions.-Scans all paperwork necessary using scanning software. -Greets customers and vendors that walk through the door, making sure iso procedures for check in are followed. -Sorts and distributes mail.-Stamps outgoing invoices, and refills postage machine funds, if needed-Mails or emails (as requested) invoices, statements, and PODs to customers.-Distributes faxes as they come in, keeping the fax bin clear.-Handles Certificates for Liability for vendors.-Manages and places orders for office supplies. -Support HR with mailing, filing, and yearly insurance packetsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:-Must have working knowledge along with the skills and abilities required to perform various clerical or administrative functions in an office setting.-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.-Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Level of Education and Experience:-High School diploma or equivalency required.-One year of administrative or office experience is desired.Physical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
