Actalent Manufacturing Engineer in Buffalo, New York

Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and managing the full product lifecycle. You will work on the manufacturing floor to identify problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. This role involves working with a variety of products in a high compliance industry, including government projects. You will also assist in the design of new and existing products using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. A passion for hands-on work and tinkering with electronics, such as smart home projects, is highly valued. Basic electronics experience is a plus, as is experience in the medical device industry.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering

  • Experience with full product lifecycle from design to end product

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Soft Skills

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats

  • Hands-on and enjoys tinkering with electronics

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo, New York.

Work Environment

Smaller team environment, working on government projects requiring ITAR compliance.
