Position Summary

The Manager, Technical Delivery Integration plays a vital role in New Era Cap’s IT organization, ensuring the successful delivery of technical projects while keeping business goals in mind. This position requires specialized technical knowledge, project management expertise, and strong leadership skills to efficiently oversee complex software development initiatives.

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will work closely with multiple onsite and offsite cross-functional teams, such as software developers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders, to comprehend various software specifications and scope and develop detailed project plans. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, including resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope. Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, and establish clear communication channels with all stakeholders

  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to maximize project outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams onsite and offshore for optimal team composition and productivity

  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential obstacles and ensure project success. Proactively monitor project progress, address any deviations from the plan, and escalate issues as necessary to keep projects on track

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project status, milestones, and expectations. Provide timely updates, address concerns, and manage stakeholder feedback effectively

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational guidelines. Conduct thorough testing and validation processes to guarantee the reliability and functionality of technical solutions

  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team culture. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, enabling their professional growth and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and tools. Drive process improvements and contribute to developing and implementing best practices across the organization

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs. Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders, highlighting project milestones, risks, and achievements. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions

  • Keeps all sensitive matters confidential

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Leadership skills in managing multiple onsite and offshore developers

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and industry trends

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on delivering practical and efficient solutions

  • Ability to work as an individual or in a team environment

  • Exceptional service orientation, responsiveness, and follow-through

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or Business; Relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered

  • Five (5) to (7) years of experience preferred, ideally in a consumer product or apparel industry

  • Any experience in the Microsoft technology stack, e-commerce ecosystem, and ERP is a bonus.

  • Any experience in Azure or AWS tech stack is a bonus

  • Experience working with SaaS and API is a bonus

  • Experience with SAP ECC / SAP BW technology stack is a bonus

  • Experience with Atlassian tools is a bonus

  • Experience working with a formal project management methodology would be a bonus

Travel Requirement

  • Project-based; up to 20% in the region and overseas

The salary range for this posted position is $110,000 - $125,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
