Minimum Qualifications This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide program (NY HELPS). Note: Candidates must not have failed the most recent examination for this title. Appointments are made at the Trainee 1 level. Duties Description Standard Duties:As a Labor Services Representative/Trainee 1/2(Spanish Language) with the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, your daily duties include, but are not limited to: providing administrative support to a UIAB hearing office, answering incoming calls from hearing parties, and processing notices of hearing and decisions.

Additional Comments Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or out-stationed assignments.Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
