Independent Health Integration Developer-Senior in Buffalo, New York

Act as a leader within the team on project-specific responsibilities, guiding junior team members as needed to ensure project goals are met. Use judgment to help balance competing priorities for functionality within projects and releases using TIBCO SOA products including Business Works 6.x, Tibco Enterprise Administrator. Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and formulate decisions, objectives and priorities consistent with long-term interest of the organization and stakeholders. Co-define and enforce rigorous quality standards, checkpoints and communications processes for the team to ensure project quality working on Java SE, Webservices, XML technologies including XSD, WSDL, XSLT and XPATH and Oracle SQL. Follow the IT systems development lifecycle to achieve project objectives within budget and timeframe requirements. Use of Tibco plugins and developing custom plugins to automate processes and solve reporting and analysis problems for business units and external stakeholders. Review code, unit tests and designs in order to identify potential security, maintenance and performance issues. Create unit tests for solutions as directed by leads and architects. Use of TIBCO Design Time Libraries to design small database models with development-lead and architect oversight. Estimate work effort based on known information. Co-define, follow and enforce standards and maintain processes to support business needs. Apply communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, describe and resolve problems using TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 8.x. Ensure stability, integrity, availability, productivity and efficient operation of applications. Create system documentation as required. Working within the healthcare industry domain will work with Tibco EDI and HL7 plugins using HIPAA standard formats in order to provide technical support, design, development and expertise in the resolution of production incidents. Migrating legacy applications to Tibco BW 6.x in order to explain system behavior for provided scenarios. Translate defect resolution into development tasks. May Telecommute.
Requirements:
Bachelor's (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Computer Science, information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field and two (2) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related
Experience must have included Use of TIBCO SOA products including Business Works 6.x and Tibco Enterprise Administrator; Use of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 8.x; Using TIBCO Design Time Libraries; Working on Java SE, Webservices, XML technologies including XSD, WSDL, XSLT and XPATH and Oracle SQL; Using Tibco plugins and developing custom plugins; Migrating legacy applications to Tibco BW 6.x; and Healthcare industry domain experience to include working with Tibco EDI and HL7 plugins using HIPAA standard formats. $128,272/yr.
Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
