One Family.Purpose StatementTheFoodLabeling Specialistconducts regular research and administrative tasks to verify that Rich Products adheres to domestic food regulations.Key Accountabilities and OutcomesAdministerand coordinatesmall projects, managesegments of larger projects, assistin defining project objectives, organize,and prioritizetasks and conductnecessary research. Interfacefrequently with various internal departments (e.g. Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering), suppliers, customers, and government/regulatory officials in accomplishing project milestonesReviewand approvethe ingredient, nutritional, and handling information on routine and customized product labels, while applying a thorough knowledge of food labeling regulationsResearchboth domestic regulations andinterpretregulations in response to internal/external customer requests and departmental requirementsRespondto customer's technical questions about Rich's products that are received through the Help LineExtractand enterraw material and technical information into computer system/databases, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with domestic and international labeling regulationsAssistin the implementation and administration of the company's Right Product/Right Label Policy, ensuring labels accurately reflect product formulasFacilitateProduct Registration/Certification Administration in the domestic marketplaceby interacting with government officials.Must be able to interpretfood and registration regulations and determineapplicability to Rich's. Coordinatecompletion of necessary paperwork and documentation.Resolveroutine, non-routine, and complex problems by applying extensive technical knowledge and experienceMaintainaccurate andup-to-date records and databasesPerformother related responsibilitiesas needed in orderto support Rich Products Corporation's business objectivesKnowledge, Skills, and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Food Science or related fieldMinimum of 2 years relevant experienceStrong PC and internet skills including Microsoft Office SuiteProficient with relevant software tools (e.g. Optiva, Accolade, etc.)Must perform well in acollaborative team settingMust possess strong communication skillsLI-SS1#earlycareersCOMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
