• Fabricate custom commercial millwork, cabinetry, countertops, trims and other specialty items- Knowledge of wood species and grade, particle boards, plywood's, laminates, veneers, solid surface- Coordinate projects through all phases from start to finish - Construct and conduct finishing work, thoroughly inspect final product - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, custom shop and architectural drawings- Safely operate all machinery, tools, equipment and systems such as planer, jointer, panel saw, wide belt sander, miter saw, power tools, hand tools, etc. - Fabricating solid surface material (i.e. Corian) - Apply plastic laminate and veneer to flat and radius vertical surfaces- Trimming, sanding, or scraping surfaces or joints to prepare articles for finishing. - Boring holes for insertion of screws or dowels, by hand or using boring machines. - Installing hardware, such as hinges, handles, catches, or drawer pulls, using hand tools. - Attaching parts or subassemblies together to form completed units, using glue, dowels, nails, screws, or clamps making sure that the joints are tight.- Maintain a clean and safe environment - Steady year-round, routine 40-hour work weeks, with predictable schedule and no travel.
