Position Summary

The Product Operations Associate is responsible for supporting multiple development tasks as part of our product lifecycle systems and carries out day-to-day foundational product creation functions. The Product Operations Associate receives direction from the Product & Graphic Operations Managers to execute the goals of the Product & Graphic Operations team, which is responsible for building all graphic assets, product tech packs, and artwork approval files for the bulk of headwear initiatives, as well as executing all product reporting, calendar builds, and BOM deliverables for all go-to-market needs. This team is responsible for assorted systematic tasks within the go-to-market process that proactively increase efficiencies and have positive procedural impacts to product launch deliverables, production timelines, tech pack accuracy, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Design, Product Line Management and other supporting departments to ensure deliverables are met
  • Meet or exceed timelines associated with Time & Action calendars for multiple overlapping deadlines
  • Proactively communicates with the project teams on deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Support implementation of process improvements focused on data management and efficiencies
  • Assist in reviewing data within SAP and PLM for accuracy. Ensure stated specifications are consistent with corresponding projects
  • Ensure Product Line Management and Design teams are supported by completing pass off to Production & follow through on Vendor questions
  • Support Product Line Management and Product Operations teams with data entry deliverables in relationship to adopted product designs for fabric, treatment, and color. Including but not limited to, replicating BOM's and BOM updates
  • Support Product Line Management processes to ensure best in class product needs are fulfilled. Examples include Customer Relations questions, GXS Catalog maintenance, B2B launch, Pending Reports, Program Close processes & Product reporting
  • Act as an advocate of PLM best practices, methods, and processes
  • Understand and utilize multiple New Era project tracking systems
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with SAP and PLM preferred.
  • Understanding of licensed sports league, team and logo rules and guidelines preferred
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures based on established processes
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence
  • The ability to be innovative and creative when handling difficult business challenges

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Management, Planning or related field required. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Zero (0) to One (1) year of experience in a related field in a professional environment required
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs

Travel Requirement

  • 0% to 5%; domestic and/or global

The salary range for this posted position is $40,000 - $48,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
