Description

We are seeking a Senior eCommerce Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, your main function will be to oversee all technical aspects of our website, including its functionality, performance, and overall customer experience. You will also serve as the primary technical liaison, facilitating communication between our external development team and internal stakeholders, and perform hands-on tasks related to eCommerce platforms and web technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately document and resolve website-related technical issues, maintaining a record of solutions and best practices for future reference.

• Identify and escalate critical issues to our development partners as necessary, managing tickets through Jira.

• Enhance the customer experience and conversion rates by identifying and implementing new features based on industry trends and best practices.

• Write and modify HTML and CSS to structure web content, including text, images, links, and multimedia.

• Regularly monitor website performance and alerts, troubleshooting any issues to ensure optimal performance.

• Use web analytics tools to track and report on website performance, user behavior, and conversion rates, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Manage and update website content, such as product listings, images, promotions, and banners, ensuring accuracy and SEO-friendliness.

• Implement and manage technical SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.

• Conduct functional and acceptance testing for new features and APIs, maintaining formalized internal testing plans and documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing, design, IT, and development teams to implement new features, enhancements, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Backend Development

• Proficiency in Content Management System (CMS)

• Demonstrated expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Familiarity with Database systems and architecture

• Firsthand experience with eCommerce platforms such as eBay

• Previous experience in AB Testing and its application in eCommerce

• Demonstrated ability to create and manage Advertisements

• Strong understanding of Analytics and its role in eCommerce

• Proven record in enhancing Brand Awareness

• Experience in Campaign Planning and execution.
