FirstService Residential Compliance Liaison in Buda, Texas

This position will assist in the management of properties in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards. This individual will develop knowledge and skills in the areas of administration, physical facilities management and homeowner relations. The ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends is required.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manages client relationships to ensure retention and a high level of service including timely and complete resolution of tenant concerns, coordinating special services and requests and conducting formal and informal inspections.
  • Creates the culture needed to enhance, promote and execute daily positive interaction among members of the building management team.
  • Acquires and maintains current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and each client’s community’s documents, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all property violations; all field activities associated with a property as it relates to the covenants.
  • Liaison with Board of Directors and owners to discuss requests on enforcement matters.
  • Facilitates the tracking for disabling key fob, amenity access for noncompliance issues relating to enforcement matters.
  • Collaborates with ACC department for enforcement matters relating to ACC matter that are noticed during routine violation drives.
  • Provides updates on amenity repairs to Assistant GM, GM and Operations Manager, that may be noticed during routine enforcement drives.
  • Maintains homeowner relation program and regular positive communication with each homeowner.
  • Performs property inspections for violations, owns process for enforcement process and communication.
  • Demonstrates a routine and effective ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Assists in preparation of manager’s reports, related to enforcement matters and Board requests.
  • Performs other job-related duties as directed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalency required. BA/BS in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:Â Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations or documents with a similar degree of complexity. Strong interpersonal skills. Two (2) years of experience in property or building operations is preferred.
  • Special Requirements: Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50lbs; Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. The associate is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. On-call 24/7. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends based on project requirement. Driving when necessary. Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.

Schedule:Â Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm
