Dispatcher/Scheduler (Bilingual-Spanish)

Location: Buchanan, NY

Salary: $25 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bilingual Spanish Dispatcher/Scheduler in the sanitation industry in Buchanan, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and scheduling sanitation services efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule sanitation routes and services for residential and commercial clients.

  • Dispatch drivers and sanitation crews according to established schedules and service requirements.

  • Monitor and track service progress, ensuring timely completion of routes and adherence to service standards.

  • Communicate with customers to provide service updates, resolve issues, and address inquiries.

  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, routes, and customer interactions.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource allocation and resolve logistical challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a dispatching or scheduling role, preferably in the sanitation or related industry.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and scheduling software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Knowledge of local geography and streets in Buchanan, NY, is a plus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or related fields is advantageous.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
