Position: General Manager

Location: Bryan, TX

General Manager, Tribute by Marriott, Bryan Texas (currently La Salle Hotel)

Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per year. | Yearly Bonus with a potential of 40% off base wages. | $3,000 Sign-On Bonus. | 3 weeks PTO accrual in year 1.| One time Pre-Opening Bonus equivalent to 15% of your earned wages once the hotel opens.|

Job Responsibilities:

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our success. Your passion for exceptional guest experiences and your strategic vision will ensure that our hotel thrives. Your key responsibilities will include:

During pre-opening the expectations of the job will include manual labor such as getting the rooms guest ready and require all OS&E items placed in the guest rooms, OS&E items placed in the restaurant/bar.

Leadership and Management:

Inspire and lead our dedicated team to achieve greatness. Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment. Foster a culture of exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

Revenue Management:

Develop and implement winning sales and marketing strategies. Maximize revenue and occupancy rates by staying ahead of market trends. Optimize pricing strategies and distribution channels.

Guest Experience:

Create unforgettable moments for our guests. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, safety, and service standards. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the hotel's budget with finesse. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions. Keep costs in check without compromising on service standards.

Community Engagement:

Embrace and celebrate our historic ties and proximity to College Station. Build strong relationships within the local community. Make a positive impact through active participation in community events.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required, college degree preferred, however will account for on the job experience equivalent to a 4 year degree. At least 2 years of General Manager experience and/or 2 years Operations Management in a Full Service Hotel Prior Marriott experience preferred. Inspiring leadership skills that motivate and unite diverse teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets. In-depth understanding of hotel operations, including revenue management and sales. Ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Knowledge of food and beverage operations is highly desired. Valid driver’s license required. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
