Field Service Technician

Job Description

• Assist in the install or repair of equipment in the field.

• Proficient with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Industrial Electrical & Mechanical repairs to Industrial Equipment.

• Willing to travel roughly 25% of the time to client sites for Installs or Repairs.

• Expected to be in the shop the other 75% of the time to help with builds, repairs, or wiring of panels.

Qualifications:

• High School degree required or equivalent work experience

• Associates Degree or Technical certificates preferred

• Experience with electrical wiring of Control Panels and mechanical assembly

• Must be familiar with shipping and receiving activities

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Good attention to detail

• Able to work independently, self starter

• Must have or able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification

• Follow safety rules and keep a neat/clean area

• Desire to continue to learn and develop new skills in shipping and receiving activities

• Take initiative to develop new skills by taking on additional responsibilities and work in a team environment
