Responsibilities

• Press Setup and Operation: Assist in setting up and operating the Goss Community press, which includes 3 tower units and 3 mono units with 2 folders.

• Press Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the press operates optimally. This includes cleaning, lubricating, changing blankets and rollers, and performing other maintenance as required.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the printing process to maintain high-quality production standards and minimize downtime.

• Quality Control: Frequently examine printed products to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards.

• Team Collaboration: Work well with other team members, providing support and fostering a collaborative working environment.

• Training: Provide training for new team members to help them understand the operation and maintenance of the press.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Meeting Production Goals: Ensure that production goals are met, managing time and resources effectively to meet deadlines, particularly the main deadline of 8pm.

• Shift Work: Be available to work the specified evening/late night shift from Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 11pm.

The essential functions of this role include:
