Job Summary

As a Safety Youth Apprentice, you will c ollaborate with and support the Safety Department to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve facility Safety programs to comply with internal and external customers' requirements along with OSHA regulations as applicable to the production facility. This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with practical experience and knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health with special projects such as Safety Data Sheet record keeping, incident investigations, safety trainings and inspections, and more!

What you need to be considered for the role:

• Student attending High School in Junior or Senior status.

• Participative involvement in school organizations, non-class related volunteer involvement, off-campus employment and demonstrated leadership preferred.

• Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

• Effective analytical and communication skills.

• Basic statistics knowledge desirable.
