Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the construction industry based in Brownsburg, Indiana. This role involves working within a dynamic environment to manage accounts payable tasks. The role is FULLY ONSITE, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Processing daily vendor invoices

• Matching vendor invoices to supporting documentation like purchase orders, bills of lading, and more

• Collaborating with vendors and the purchasing team to investigate and resolve discrepancies

• Exporting data from Oracle to Excel, including using features such as vlookups and pivot tables with exported data

• Assisting with month-end close, including the creation of accrual journal entries

• Leveraging advanced Excel functions including data export, filter, sort, vlookups, pivot table creation, etc.

• Maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail

• Working efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment

• Using skills related to Accounts Payable (AP), Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Account Reconciliation, and Accruals

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience with Oracle software is a plus but not required

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary

• Must have experience in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with accruals and expense accruals is a must

• A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
