Honeywell NPI Product Lead in Broomfield, Colorado

Position Overview:

As the NPI Product Lead, you will be responsible for leading the successful introduction of new products into the market. You will oversee the entire NPI process from concept development through to commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities.

Location: Golden Valley, MN OR Broomfield, Colorado

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $122,000 – 147,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Travel/Territory: Up to 20% domestic travel

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Introduction Strategy and Planning:

· Develop and execute the strategy for new product introductions, including defining product roadmap, target markets, value propositions, and competitive positioning.

· Conduct market research, customer needs analysis, and feasibility studies to assess the viability and potential of new product concepts.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to create comprehensive NPI plans and timelines.

Project Management and Execution:

· Lead cross-functional teams throughout the NPI lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project milestones, timelines, and budget constraints.

· Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches.

· Coordinate prototype development, testing, and validation processes to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

· Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for NPI initiatives within the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

· Communicate project status updates, key milestones, and potential risks to senior management and stakeholders.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support NPI activities and enhance product development capabilities.

Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance:

· Conduct post-launch reviews and analysis to evaluate product performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction metrics.

· Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to manage product lifecycle, optimize portfolio, and enhance product quality, reliability, and customer experience.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and internal quality management systems throughout the NPI process.

YOU MUST HAVE :

· Minimum of 6 years of experience in years of experience in NPI product management or related roles

· 3 years with a focus on NPI initiatives.

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

· Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration

· Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps.
