Intermountain Health Denials Analyst in Broomfield, Colorado
Job Description:

As a Denials Analyst you need to know how to:
Establish denials prevention programs and serve as subject matter expert across SCL to mitigate losses from denials- Ensure optimal performance in all areas of denials prevention in compliance with SCL policies and regulatory standards- Lead and drive denial prevention projects through collaboration with care sites and RSC operations and leadership- Participate in projects and process design/reengineering or other committees designed to improve effectiveness/efficiency of the business- Identify system and process improvement opportunities to reduce and prevent denials, streamline complex billing problems and maximize collection efforts- Perform root-cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, and lead improvement projects/initiatives- Provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency in processes to the RSC Operations Management Team

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of data analysis experience
-Associates Degree
Preferred:
At least two (2) years in health care data analysis, HIM, Hospital Billing or revenue cycle experience
Microsoft Experience, advanced knowledge of Excel/Powerpoint
Previous work experience in a multi-site environment
Previous Epic Resolute hospital billing experience
Previous experience with CMS regulations, billing compliance and CPT/HCPCS coding
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and -May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$25.64 - $39.05
