Responsibilities: (General Overview/Categories of Responsibilities):
POSITION SUMMARY:
ZSI Painters utilize the latest technology and skills to provide all aspects of interior walls and ceilings for commercial wallcoverings; from initial preparation work to job site clean-up.
DUTIES, CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE: (include but not limited to)
Essential Duties:
· Wallpaper hangers, or paperhangers, apply decorative fabric, vinyl or paper coverings to building interiors
· Apply a wallpaper backing or sizing to the wall prior to hanging the paper
· Careful measurements and allowing for repeating patterns so that each strip will align properly
· Remove the old covering and prepare the surface to receive new paper
· Sand and repair areas as needed
· Communicate with site Foreman to immediately address any safety concerns, material shortages, or discrepancies
Coatings:

Expectations: (Specific Tasks/Goals/Daily, Monthly, Expectations)
- Daily job site expectations
- a. Arrive 15 minutes early to get job assignments from Foreman
- b. Wear proper uniform while on job site (company shirt, PPE)
- c. Take scheduled breaks and lunch during designated times
- d. Clean-up at the end of each shift; no cleaning early than 3:15 pm and should take no longer than 15 minutes.
- Timekeeping
- a. Utilize Telegram to GPS clock-in and clock-out
- b. Immediately inform Foreman/Ops Manager if time is not logged correctly
- c. Clearly communicate work attendance concerns with Foreman/Ops Manager
