Description

Robert Half has partnered with a stable manufacturer within the Philadelphia Mainline area, on their search for an AR Specialist with excellent communication skills. In this role you will handle customer payment discrepancies, process cash receipts, place collection calls, reconcile credit card and cash receipt transactions, track customer credit worthiness, prepare credit memos/invoices, and perform credit checks. The successful AR Specialist will also manage credit risk, maintain customer accounts, and assist with billing. If you are looking for a promising AR role with longevity, this may be for you!

What you get to do everyday

· Manage credit and collection functions

· Process accounts receivable activities

· Monitor customer accounts

· Document daily cash receipts

· Resolve customer inquiries and disputes

· Analyze, and review customer credit worthiness

· Identify delinquent accounts

· Analyze AR ageing reports for discrepancies

· Perform payment reconciliations

Requirements

The ideal AR Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the AR Specialist role include and are not limited to:

· 2+ years of accounts receivable experience

· Multi-entity experience a big plus

· Any AP experience is a plus

· Any ERP implementation experience is a plus
