Do you want drive demand planning in Grundfos, ensuring that we consistently deliver robust, reliable and high quality demand plans to our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, through supporting best practice and leading innovation?

What is the job about?

The Global Product Forecast Manager will be responsible for both bringing a constantly high level of analytical support, increase automation in the demand planning and deployment of AI/ML into our Global Forecasting team. You will also be taking part in supporting and planning specific product supply chains. This will be done through working closely together with Divisional demand planning managers, supply planning managers and key Group functions. The Global Product Forecast Manager is responsible for clearly highlighting areas for improvements, conducting training and providing practical input to ongoing activities, for improving our Demand planning process.

The position will provide support to the annual 5-year strategic sales planning process. Whereas sales outlooks are collected monthly in the SIOP process, sales outlooks are collected yearly for the 5-years strategic sales planning process.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop the analytic capabilities within demand planning.

  • Ensure that we have the right KPI’s and ensure that they are deployed and understood.

  • Provide input to ensure that our product chains are in balance.

  • Support increasing the automation in Demand planning through system guidance and AI/ML.

  • Build and update various reports and presentations that support the SIOP process.

  • Support projects both at Regional and Group level.

  • Monthly review of statistical models.

  • Support the 5-year strategic process.

  • Conducting training sessions for demand planners.

  • Influence the Product Review and the Demand Review parts of the SIOP cycle for continuous improvement and maturity.

Your background

You are experienced with delivering structured and clear analysis of complex situations. You have the availability to both structure large amounts of data from various data sources, extract the key messages and structure it in easily readable storylines. You are experienced in delivering facts in a complex matrix organization, because you have authority, credibility and availability to convince people through facts and figures.

You possess the ability to collaborate effectively and build rapport with peers seamlessly. We expect approx. 20 days of traveling if necessary,as a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid passport.

We imagine that you have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from a complex environment

  • Have the capability of transforming complex data, into easily readable decision presentations.

  • Customer oriented

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP IBP/BWEnglish Proficiency

  • Experienced in driving projects

  • Statistical Forecasting knowledge

  • Demand Planning experience.

  • The ability tooperate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function.

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidate must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.
