OurCoreValues Perseverance / Integrity / Family / Stability / Competency Roles and Responsibilities Estimate Refrigeration and Mechanical projects; assist in project design, application, timelines, and milestones Collaborate with and gain proposal contributions from Project Managers, Marketing, and administrative staff Qualify sub-tier bids for completeness and compliance Process internal pricing requests, Requests for Proposal/Quote; facilitate the broadcast announcement of bidding opportunity Organize and prepare job information; take lead role in ordering materials for projects Study job specifications to ensure appropriate construction means and methods Responsibility for reporting changes and issues in scope and revenue to senior management in a timely manner Determine labor requirements for projects, work with Construction supervisor to staff accordingly Optimize South-Town s position in securing work by identifying and executing strategic opportunities within proposals Complete all required close-out documents Assist with project post-mortems and create recommendations reports identifying successful and unsuccessful project aspects Ensure all legal codes, requirements, permits, etc. are met/obtained and closed out Minimize exposure and risk by implementing quality assurance controls Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Ensure company compliance with bidding requirements and goals for each project Help to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff and clients Facilitate meetings as needed Ensure field employees adherence to health/safety standards and policies Manage project administrative duties, including but not limited to change orders, schedules, permit applications, sub-contracts, etc. Attend jobsite meetings as needed Minimum Requirements Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey clear and timely expectations to team members 2 years of HVAC or Refrigeration experience Attention to detail with high level of accuracy Ability to read, understand, and follow construction documents Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of construction estimating software (Bluebeam, OwnCloud) Exceptional customer service skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work and excel in an environment with deadlines Strategic visionary with the ability to plan and see the big picture Self-motivated with outstanding time management and multitasking skills Interpersonal and leadership capabilities with the competence to appropriately handle stressful situations Ability to establish and maintain effective and respectful working relationships and rapport with clients, co-workers and vendors Strong numerical and analytical skills Preferred Skills Bachelor s degree in construction or project management OR equivalent field experience What's in it for You Health Insurance with company-match HSA Company-paid Dental, Life, and Short-term Disability insurance 401k/Profit sharing Vacation, Holiday, and Sick pay Being a valued & appreciated team member of a premier family-owned company
