Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of checks, ACH’s, and credit cards, as well as managing deductions on payments and creating transactions in ERP systems. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process cash applications, ensuring proper posting and allocation of funds. • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash applications. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and effectively implement operational enhancements. • Maintain strict adherence to company policies and procedures regarding cash application. • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external individuals and teams. • Utilize various accounting software systems, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient functioning. • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Automated Clearing House (ACH), and Billing Functions. • Oversee cash activity and cash applications. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools

• Experience with Crystal Reports

• Understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in overseeing Cash Activity

• Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions

• Relevant experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is desirable

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
