Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Description of Duties:
-Recording EEG and administering cognitive tests to study participants using state-of-the-art applications for the large Collaborative Study on the Genetics of Alcoholism (COGA) in the Henri Begleiter Neurodynamics Laboratory. -Administering clinical interview and questionnaires (by telephone and in person) to COGA study participants. -Recruiting, screening and scheduling of participants for the COGA study. Follow up, tracking and prioritizing study participants for repeat assessments. -Computerized processing of post collection clinical, cognitive and EEG data and quality control. -Assisting in administrative aspects of project, such as publications, progress reports, research manuscripts including literature reviews, grants, research meetings and calls, consent forms and IRB.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: BA or BS in psychology, social work, neuroscience, genetics or other science related field. PREFERRED: Experience in human research and/or courses related to mental health, substance use, etc. Experience or courses in neuroscience, physiology, psychology or related field desirable. Human lab experience and computer background preferred. Interest in alcohol, substance use and other mental health issues and/or brain function familiarity with statistics and/or computer programming (e.g.REDCap, Python, SPSS) a plus.
