ABOUT THE ROLE

The Uncommon Goods Marketing Team focuses on customer acquisition and retention via a variety of channels including paid search, paid social, email marketing, affiliate marketing & PR, podcasts & television .

We seek a Seasonal Marketing Assistant to become an integral part of our team, working closely with our podcast division to gain hands-on experience in the field. Day-to-day duties for the podcast team include:

  • Researching and evaluating potential shows for advertising opportunities.

  • Corresponding with network and agency contacts to secure and prepare show bookings.

  • Organizing and maintaining up-to-date campaign information in Excel.

  • Collaborating internally with product management and customer service departments to secure promotions and vanity links.

    This is a fully remote position with an opportunity to work on-site at our Brooklyn waterfront location.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants should be curious, organized, and self-motivated.

  • Interest in marketing and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.

  • A reliable home internet connection is required.

  • Must have a computer capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite (a license will be provided if needed).

  • Applicants will be expected to attend regular Zoom meetings to check in with team members.

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, or another related field is preferred, but not required.

  • No prior experience is needed.

    This is a Seasonal hourly position expected to work 40 hours per week with a salary of $22 per hour.
