salary: $16 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Perform swabs at changeover.

  • Examine, evaluate, analyze, and keep records of materials and products from receiving through production and shipping.

  • Handle protocols for Holds, rework, and non-compliant ingredients, packaging, and products.

  • Prepare daily production summaries and scan to file.

  • Test seams, pH, %TA, °Brix, color, moisture, and salt.

  • Take micro swabs, perform inoculation and incubation, summarize results, monitor follow-ups, and maintain records.

  • Monitor production lines to verify codes, labels, weights, and packaging.

  • Supervise blending activities.

  • Work closely with shipping and production in matters related to quality control.

  • Be accountable for observing, analyzing, and ing solutions in quality and food safety areas.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety and food quality fundamentals, including traceability, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans, allergens, control of contaminants, and calibration of equipment.

The essential functions of this role include:
