Maintain daily open communication with the room teacher and Director; Respect and always protect the confidentiality and privacy of each child and family under all conditions; Assist with supporting each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development; Provide positive guidance to children and parents; Assist the room teacher with planning activities by curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy; Assist with maintaining a classroom environment in accordance with program goals and philosophy; Conduct demonstrations to teach skills such as sports, dancing, and handicrafts; Facilitate effective communication with parents who only speak Ukrainian or Russian, ensuring they are kept informed of any updates regarding their children's development or progress; Distribute teaching materials to students, such as textbooks, workbooks, papers, and pencils; Enforce administration policies and rules governing students; Assist with the report of accurate progress of children through parent-teacher conferences; Grade homework and tests and compute and record results ; Instruct and monitor students using and caring for equipment and materials to prevent injuries and damage; Laminate teaching materials to increase their durability under repeated use; Maintain accurate and appropriate records under the supervision of the room teacher; Report any suspected neglect or abuse of children to the Director; Observe students' performance and record relevant data to assess progress; Help to prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations; Escort children to parents.Requirements:•One year of experience in the job offered or related field.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the Ukrainian and Russian language
