As an Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis within our Global Finance & Business Management team, you'll lead crucial budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering impactful reporting and strategic analyses. As a Payments Planning & Analysis, Digital & Design associate within the Payments Digital & Design Planning & Analysis Team, you will be engaged in both supporting day-to-day business objectives, as well as shaping the strategic vision of the business along with the Planning & Analysis Lead of the product. You will help manage critical deliverables in a fast-paced environment, collaborate and lead a diverse set of stakeholders, think strategically, and communicate in a concise and thoughtful manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Managing annual and continual financial planning activities for product areas, and providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting.
Reporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and helping define future needs of the product area.
Developing, performing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management including key drivers of results and explaining changes from prior forecast/budgets
Working closely with the business management team to Ingest and analyze financial results (e.g. revenues, expenses, headcount) to help communicate to business leads in way that allows for actionable insights on business performance
Support shaping and execution of strategic initiatives as well as ad-hoc requests by assisting in digital transformation agenda through efficiency reporting, multiple analytics, and helping build long term strategy, including location strategy
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
2+ years of experience within Financial Services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly. Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments, often with little lead time or information
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple competing priorities and deliverables under pressure
Proactive thinker with a growth and creative mindset
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to problem solve
Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis Teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience with Payments business
Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data and data analytics tools
Experience with Planning and Analysis, Business Management, Project Management or Strategy
