Description We are offering a role for a Software Developer in Brooklyn, New York, 11239, United States. The role is centered around developing software solutions, improving existing software, and managing software development projects. This role operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, offering a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new software programs

• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software

• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues

• Design and update software database

• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization

• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary

• Be able to work in a team and individually on projects

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Write and implement efficient code

• Comply with project plans and industry standards

Skills:

• Basic office skills Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and principles

• Experience in developing, testing, and debugging software applications

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus

• Basic office skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements
