AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Brookline, MA for a leave replacement position from March 10, 2025, to June 20, 2025. This School serves students in grades K-8 and provides a range of services to support academic success and physical well-being. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing direct and consultative services to students in both pull-out and inclusion settings. The role will involve collaboration with classroom teachers, special educators, and other school-based professionals to ensure that students receive the supports they need to thrive in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8, in both pull-out and inclusion settings.

  • Assess and evaluate students' physical, sensory, and fine motor skills to identify areas of need.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans with measurable goals.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

  • Provide consultative services to teachers regarding classroom modifications, accommodations, and strategies to support students' occupational needs.

  • Document student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy goals.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and other school-related activities as required.

  • Maintain appropriate records of services provided and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.

    Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Experience working with children, particularly in school or educational settings, is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Additional Information:

  • This position is 36 hours per week.

  • The position will run from March 10, 2025, through June 20, 2025.

  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, in accordance with the Public Schools of Brookline’s pay scale.
