Harbor Sanitary District, Brookings, OR is seeking applications for the position of Wastewater Collection System Operator II to act as our lead operator. This position maintains and oversees the operations of the district collection system and works under the direction of the Board of Directors. REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED. * Valid driver\'s license. * Wastewater collections system operator certification grad 2 or the ability to obtain with in 12 months of hire. * Confined space training or obtain within 6 months of hire. * CPR and first aid or obtain within 6 months of hire. * Flagging certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. * Proficient with Microsoft Suite of programs along with 365 * Pass a preemployment background check and drug screen JOB DUTIES: * Maintains and oversee the operations of the district collection system. * Preform a variety of skilled labor tasks to maintain, operate and repair the districts wastewater collection system, associated facilities and equipment. * Preform basic mathematics. * Adhere to all safety procedures. Apply modern wastewater collection principles, practices, methods, techniques and procedures. * Oversee sewer cleaning and televising projects, sewer repair projects, compiles and prepares required reports, maintains district mapping systems and works with district engineers on collection system projects. * Responds to emergencies including afterhours, weekends and holidays. HOURS: This is a 38 hour a week position Including afterhours, weekends and holidays. PAY: \$47,424 - \$59,280 depending on experience and certifications. WORKSITE: Brookings/Harbor, Oregon
