Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our insurance clients team. The Quality Assurance team is essential in maintaining the reliability and effectiveness of their software. This role focuses on identifying subtle issues that can significantly impact the user experience, ensuring a high standard of quality The individual will be responsible for creating and carrying out detailed testing approaches, ensuring the entire testing process aligns with project requirements and quality standards. This includes evaluating software performance, stability, and compatibility with both existing and/or external systems. Responsibilities include:

 Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications.

 Collaborate with Dev and QA team members to ensure software meets business and technical requirements.

 Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication and resolution.

 Perform UI, DB validation, and API functional testing across different platforms and environments.

 Perform smoke, regression, and sanity testing across various environments (QA, UAT, PROD) to ensure software stability and functionality.

 Ensure test coverage by maintaining and updating test plans and test cases as needed.

 Work closely with the development team to ensure defects are resolved and software is released with no issues.

 Participate in release testing, ensuring a smooth and successful deployment process.

 Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.

 Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and best practices.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree is required.

 0-3 years of experience in QA testing roles.

 Solid understanding of test methodologies and manual testing techniques, including functional, smoke, regression, and acceptance testing.

 Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.

 Ability to document test cases, bug reports, and test results clearly and concisely.

 Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to testing. null
