NATURE AND SCOPE Our Landmark Summer Internship Program offers a unique, hands-on experience designed to help you build valuable skills in key corporate areas that align with your field of study. Our paid, full-time internship program is located at our Brookfield Headquarters building and runs for 12 weeks, from June 2 - August 11, 2025. During this time, interns will have the opportunity to participate in professional development activities, network with peers, and engage with senior leaders. Through this experience, you\'ll explore potential career paths, expand your knowledge of Financial Institutions, and strengthen your professional skills that will prepare you for future success in a dynamic, People First culture. Team Overview The Data Engineering team works cross-functionally with other business units to provide the data they need for day-today monitoring, operational effectiveness, trend analysis, and integration between various software applications and/or regulatory reporting entities. Learning Objectives As a Data Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with the entire data lifecycle, including analyzing source systems, extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data, and leveraging that data to create insightful visualizations. In addition, the intern will: * Work on a cross-functional team following an Agile methodology. * Expand knowledge of data practices, tools, and query capabilities. * Perform data analysis to generate business insights. * Learn how to build data products and take them through all the steps necessary to reach the production environment. REQUIREMENTS 1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates entering their senior year. 2. Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts. 3. Passion for data and demonstrated interest in learning data engineering. 4.
