2 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 4/1/2025 - 12/1/2025.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in the job order and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in boxes 3 & 4 on page 1. Workers are needed to perform any combination of the following tasks daily: planting seeds, transplanting, maintaining and harvest various vegetable crops, mushrooms, and fruits. Workers must have a working knowledge of and ability to perform various tasks required in greenhouse tomato production, including harvesting, grading, suckering, lowering, clipping and thinning. Workers will perform fieldwork including, planting, transplanting, weeding, thinning, hoeing and other tasks required in the planting, maintaining, and harvesting of various vegetable and fruit crops as well as collect eggs. Workers will sort, wash, pack and otherwise prepare various crops for storage and shipping, as well as be capable of transporting various crops from field to farm and/or retail stand with provided harvest vehicle. Workers will load and unload trucks and other farm vehicles, set up and operate various irrigation equipment, and cut brush and other vegetation in and around fields, buildings and equipment. Workers will use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, hand saws, and knives. Workers may be asked to operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid driver's license; no worker will be rejected for not having a driver's license. Must operate agricultural equipment safely. The employer will provide 1 day of training and 2 days of work for the worker to satisfactorily demonstrate proficiency in performing the duties described in this job description. Work required in fields when plants are wet with dew and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun, high humidity and extreme temperatures. Workers must be able to work in various extreme weather conditions from damp and cold spring and fall days to hot and humid summer days. Work is physically demanding, bending, stooping and kneeling for extended periods of time will be required. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Daily or weekly work schedules may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employers will notify workers of any change to the schedule. The employer will furnish to workers without cost all tools and equipment required to perform assigned duties. Workers must be willing to work 9-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Monday through Saturday as needed. Workers must be available to work weekends. Workers will get at least 30-minute Lunch break which is staggered between 11am - 1pm as decided by the workers.
