Description
Comunilife Inc.is looking for aProgram Managerfor its newRehabilitation and Tenancy Support Services Program (RTS).The Program Manager is responsible for the overall program oversight of the newly establishedResidential and Tenancy Support (RTS) Program. This program was established as of January 1,2023, and allows agencies that provide housing services to clients in units funded by NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) to bill Medicaid for certain services. The program is designed to assist individuals who are transitioning from institutional care or temporary settings into permanent housing. The individual receives RTS services which help them to develop independent living skills and achieve housing stability. The services focus on reducing disabling symptoms related to mental illness and substance use and increasing individuals’ ability to maintain a household and integrate into the community. The salary range for this position is up to $75,000 a year.
Schedule:
Mon - Fri. 9am-5pm
Essential Duties Include:
Plans and administer daily operation of the program
Responsible for staff program assignments and supervision of program activities to ensure all programs are in compliance with state mandated reporting requirements.
Assist and participate in the recruitment and retention of staff
Responsible for enforcing policies and procedures in compliance with Federal, State and City Laws, rules and regulations
Ensure that Quality Improvement Policies and Procedures are follow as required
Ensure program compliance with OMH contract requirements
Regularly review and monitor assessors output activities to ensure that benchmark are met.
Monitor data in CAIRS and AWARDS to ensure that data integrity in compliance with Medicaid billing requirements.
Provide oversight in maintaining and securing individual files and records to ensure that files are kept complete, current, and readily identifiable from other Comunilife programs. Ensure that all client records are maintained by Comunilife for a minimum of seven (7) years after the expiration of the contract.

Education and Experience Requirement(s)
A Master’s Degree in social work, public health, health administration, nursing or related field; and three(3) to five (5) years of administrative and supervisory experience operating Scatter Site Housing Program(s); or Bachelor’s Degree in social work, public health, health administration, or related field; and five(5) to seven (7) years of administrative and supervisory experience operating Scatter Site Housing Program(s). Five or more years’ experience in providing direct services related to the treatment and recovery of older adult population with serious chronic illness including medical, mental health and substance use. Bilingual-Spanish preferred. Gerontology training a plus.
