Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Biological Sciences department at Bronx Community College (BCC) seeks experienced adjunct instructors to teach either General Biology I (BIO 11) or Anatomy and Physiology I (BIO 23) for the Fall 2024 semester (8/28/2024 to 12/21/2024).

QUALIFICATIONS

Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment. Master’s degree preferred.

Adjunct Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment

COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with education and experience:

Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
