General Production Worker/3rd shift /Can start Asap/Broadview ,IL

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be working in the batch mixing department, where you will load and weigh dry ingredients, lift bags or ingredients, set machinery for cooks, and gather raw materials and ingredients from inventory. You will follow recipes to mix and add ingredients, set liquid filler machinery to mixing tanks, and dump ingredients into tanks. This role requires you to be comfortable lifting 40 lbs., waiting for products to cook, cleaning and organizing stations, climbing ladders to dump and add ingredients, cutting boxes, gathering ingredients, and staging materials.

Responsibilities

• Load and weigh dry ingredients

• Lift bags or ingredients

• Set machinery for cooks

• Gather raw materials and ingredients from inventory

Work Environment

The facility is very clean, with packaging machinery, kettles/tanks for mixing, and inventory. The floor consists of different tanks, machinery, and packaging lines. It is clean and temperature controlled, although it can be a little warmer around the machinery and kettles for cooking. The facility is very nice and smells pleasant. Candidates need to be comfortable wearing hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry, work pants, and non-slip boots as it is a GMP environment.
