Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Broadview Heights, Ohio

Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Broadview Heights, Ohio. This role involves overseeing all human resources functions including employee relations, benefits, and compensation administration. You will also ensure compliance with regulations in all aspects of HR.

This is a permanent position with standard business hours. It is an in office position. This position does require traveling to multiple sites that they will be managing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

• Manage the recruitment and selection process

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits program

• Oversee compensation administration to ensure fairness and equity

• Handle employee relations issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role in HR (5+ years)

• Proficient understanding of benefit functions and administration

• Demonstrated knowledge of compensation administration

• Strong understanding of compliance and legal requirements related to HR

• Excellent skills in managing and improving employee relations

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs

• Experience in analyzing data and using HR metrics to guide decisions

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of HR systems and databases

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

• Relevant certification or degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
