Procurement Analyst 2725764 A leading medical institution is seeking a Procurement Analyst. The successful candidate will perform the acquisition of goods and services including equipment acquisition, contracting for professional services, design and/or construction services, business contracts, maintenance services, consulting, and personal services of two medical centers. The ideal candidate has hospital experience. Procurement Analyst Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $55/hr * Worksite: Leading medical institution (Brisbane, CA 94005 - Hybrid) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment Procurement Analyst Responsibilities: * Perform basic research and analysis via outreach to vendors to gather data to create vendor profiles. Maintain data gather in Excel or MS Word and conduct basic analysis by creating Excel workbooks, pivot tables, etc. * When appropriate and with supervision, conduct initial pricing/contract analysis to determine if we can lower the price and improve terms. Develop advanced spreadsheets and other documentation to support analysis * Assists in the operational implementation of new vendors and program changes impacting vendor services (e.g. Set up new Vendor Accounts in ERP system when needed) * Maintain administrative documents for assigned vendors utilizing MS Word, Excel or ERP system. Procurement Analyst Qualifications: * Hospital experience. * A bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training is preferred. * Advanced Excel and analytical skills * Price negotiations. * Analytical skills necessary to evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of multiple and complex purchasing options is preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. * Ability to read and interpret terms and conditions of contracts. * Strong level of proficiency in the use of standard spreadsheet and word processing software. * Knowledge of the organization's departments and operations required in order to meet their procurement needs is preferred. * Strong skills in the use of ERP/financial systems (such as Allscripts, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner, etc.) are preferred. Procurement Analyst Shift: * Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm.
