CANDIDATE MUST BE LEVEL III RESPONSIBLE w/ Aerospace experience

Job Purpose:

The NDT Manager is a responsible Level III and ensures that inspections are performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, Dynamic Aviation Services Nondestructive Techniques Manual, and/or ASTM requirements as applicable, while providing daily leadership to all technicians within the department.

Duties:

• Provides for necessary equipment, training, and oversees NDT daily activities

• Maintain NAS 410 required manuals, processes, and procedures

• Perform qualification and periodic reviews of inspection staff

• Provide leadership to direct reports

• Ensures NDT employees are focused on their responsibilities

• Provide overall quality control, monitoring of all technicians for consistency

• Perform NDT inspections on aircraft and in the lab

• Maintain NDT lab to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements

• Travel offsite in support of NDT functions

• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum NAS-410 Level III certification in MPI, FPI, ET, and UT

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be detail-oriented and well organized

• Ability to work constructively with other Dynamic Aviation departments

• FAA A&P Certificatepreferred

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree through a technical/vocational school is preferred

• Previous experience performing NDT in Aerospace Industry
