Job Purpose:The 737 Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead role provides leadership to mechanics performing maintenance, modifications and repairs while providing daily leadership and direction to all assigned mechanics working the leads project.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to mechanics, ensuring a clear understanding of project work
• Work with Airframe Supervisor to ensure project maintenance and modification is completed in accordance with documentation and meets customers requirements
• Follow proper aircraft procedures when making decisions regarding aircraft maintenance and modifications
• Work with the Airframe Supervisor to ensure layout of projects and completed on time
• Ability to work with varying departments to ensure completion of assignment
• Understand and apply FAA regulations and standards
• Work with Airframe Supervisor regarding employee relations as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Valid AandP certificate
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience with 737aircraft is required
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Previous aircraft maintenance leadership experience required

Ability to:

- - Crawl in and out of tight spaces - Comfortably work at elevated heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods of time - Lift balance, and carry 50 lbs. - Work in enclosed hangars and exterior weather conditions - Work in close proximity to other people
