You will also collaborate with officials from local municipalities, professional consultants, legal counsel and land development contractors. JOB SUMMARY:Primary responsibility for leading and directing the Division’s land planning and development teams in all aspects of the planning and development phases. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and direct for assigned Division project due diligence, feasibility budgets and schedules, planning and entitlement, land development, and budgeting activities. Oversee and support programs established by Area management team.
Oversee due diligence activities. Assess project risks and convey risks to Area VP and Operations Team. Participate in establishing feasibility budgets and schedules for all consulting, engineering, and development activities.
Coordinate land activities with Operating Team to facilitate timely project start-up.
Oversee the timely preparation of Conditional and Final Public Reports.
Oversee timely preparation of contracts. Assist Area VP with implementation of standard contracting protocol.
Oversee project bidding and land purchasing activities for Division.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITES

Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent

Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
Creates opportunities for employee growth
Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of this position.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 to 7 years previous related experience
