What you'll do

As a CMTG Supply Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the supply chain processes related to our contract manufacturing partner(s), related traded goods, and potential FG imports through affiliate locations. This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely product availability while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance supply chain efficiency and drive improvements in inventory management.

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with contract manufacturers to align production schedules with demand forecasts and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock movements, and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover while minimizing dysfunctional stock.

  • Production Planning: Develop and maintain production plans that meet customer requirements while balancing capacity constraints and lead times.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturer(s) and suppliers, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or performance.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to assess supply chain performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, production schedules, and supply chain metrics for internal stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferable in a Supply Chain Management, Business Administration) or have equivalent experience in supply chain role such as: supply planning, planner/buyer, scheduling, etc

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning or inventory management, preferably in a contract manufacturing environment

  • ERP experience necessary (SAP preferred).

  • Related exposure and management of import logistics tracking for any related finished goods planning with Henkel Affiliate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • APICS or equivalent certification is advantageous.

The salary for this role is $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
