Our client, a leader in the product development sector, is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Development Technician

Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hr

What's the Job?

• Work independently and/or cross-functionally to initiate and execute lab works on evaluation of recyclability, repulpability, and biodegradation of various materials.

• Responsible for collecting, recording, interpreting, and documenting data in a manner consistent with Good Documentation Practices.

• Comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Manage and prioritize assigned projects with little or no direction.

• Conduct repetitive work while maintaining a high level of organization and cleanliness in the lab.

What's Needed?

• Must be reliable and dependable.

• Good technical skills with training in wet chemistry laboratory safety.

• Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.).

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science, or Polymer Science preferred; however, candidates with a high school/community college background and a can-do attitude are encouraged to apply.
