Partner, Business Consulting - Financial Services

Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Partner candidate to join the leadership team of our North American Financial Services practice in the Capital Markets space.

About the Role:
As a Partner, you will be responsible for growing the Capital Markets practice for Financial Services by partnering and managing our various clientele and enabling others to lead client engagements. You will lead strategic programs dealing with complex, industry-specific requirements, while ensuring that we continue to support the sales teams in North America. You will leverage your industry connects to open new doors for Infosys.

Responsibilities:
Primary focus will be Client Management, Program and Project Leadership, Practice and People Development, Business Development and Thought Leadership
Consulting business development experience working with client teams, project teams to generate and sell consulting projects including developing industry solutions within Information & Data Management, designing the sales approach, defining target client management, creation and delivery of client pitch and proposals, developing sales campaigns and managing the sales life cycle from lead identification through closing and revenue recognition (15 years of experience)
Participate in all aspects of proposal development process - Ability to independently organize, develop pursuits (working with cross-unit pursuit teams) and write high quality proposals, work with leaders to develop pricing strategies (15 years of experience)
Experience with leading and supervising project teams - mobilizing teams, managing teams in designing information management strategy & blueprint, solution design, guide business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, piloting, designing and/or reviewing detailed project plans
Being able to mentor, coach, and develop consultants. Participating in firm level initiative's around hiring, training and coaching. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and nurture relationships within a matrix organization.
Be able to confidently interact with senior leadership within both Lines of Business (CEO/COO/EVP/SVP/SMD/MD - Investment Banking & Brokerage, Wealth and Asset Management Companies) as well as IT (CIO, CTO, VP's, Directors) in presenting organization capabilities, practice credentials, value propositions, solutions, being able to deliver and lead oral presentations, anchor business/IT workshops.
Should have excellent client relationship management, executive presence, verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
Practice Development experience including identifying and focusing on the impact of "data, analytics, and automation" trends on client's functional areas, identifying specific use cases and staying current with best practices in the financial services industry. Defining relevant consulting offers and solutions, leading, coaching and training staff on offers and client pitches and building a team of practitioners for each core offer area focusing on Information Management
Knowledge of Financial Services Industry, Trends and Practices - within sub-verticals - Investment Banking & Brokerage, Wealth and Asset Management Companies
Experience with transformation programs and specialization in: Information Management, Data Management and Architecture, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Reporting, Dashboards, Data Governance, Big Data & Monetization
Determine and implement strategy for the practice - where and how to compete and ensure operational discipline to enable practice growth


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
15 years of relevant work experience with three years of experience in comparable consulting services.
Big 4 or equivalent experience in a leadership capacity
Industry Focus in one of the following areas of Financial Services: Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively resolve conflict and exercise mature judgement
Ability to work independently to drive towards performance targets including sales and utilization targets
Strong oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills (development of the presentation and executive level presenting)
Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

Preferred Qualifications:
15 years combined financial services industry and consulting experience (within North America)
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, including identification of leads and opportunities, pre-sales and post-sales support and client relationship management
Minimum 12 years' experience delivering major transformation initiatives in business, operation and technology to the Global Fortune 500
This job may entail an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
